Spring Concert on May 6, 2025

The Alamance Chorale held its 2025 Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 6, at 7:30p.m. at Walter M. Williams High School in Burlington. The program included works from Bach’s “Jesu, Priceless Treasure” to Dolly Parton’s “Light of a Clear Blue Morning”, Irving Berlin’s “Blue Skies,” Carly Simon’s “Let the River Run,” and an arrangement of the hymn “It Is Well with My Soul.” The historic WHS theater organ was also featured.

Vocal Workshop – February 1, 2025

On Saturday, February 1, Alamance Chorale sponsored a Vocal Workshop led by Dr. Leda Scearce of the Duke Voice Care Center. Dr. Scearce is a singer, singing teacher, and speech-language pathologist. She provides voice evaluation and rehabilitation therapy to singers, actors, and other vocal performers with voice injuries at Duke Voice Care Center, where she is Director of Performing Voice Programs. There were 58 participants both from the Chorale and from our community. We learned a lot!
