Spring Concert on May 2, 2026

The Alamance Chorale spring concert is on May 2nd at Williams High School in Burlington at 3pm. There is no admission charge. The theme of the concert is “I Hear America Singing!”. The program features songs celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States. The first half of the program will include American songs from across the nation such as “Old Man River” and “Yellow Rose of Texas”.  The second half of the program will feature favorites such as “God Bless America”, “I Hear America Singing”, “E Pluribus Unim”, and many other familiar tunes. The members of Alamance Piecemakers Quilt Guild and Burlington Carousel Quilt Guild are pleased to present a display of patriotic-themed quilts made in honor of the semiquincentennial of the United States of America. The quilt entitled “We the People” is a commemorative project of Alamance Piecemakers Quilt. The 75-member guild met for multiple workshops in 2025 to create an original design.
